I'm disappointed with myself. I spent 4hours studying, doing mindmaps and yet nothing got in. What is this?

I was really excited and looking forward to the 3D2N choir camp! It is the first time that YCKSS choir organised a camp since I stepped in. Lots of things happened during the camp, but well in the end everything went back normal again! ^^

We formed into groups of 11. Group names are, Alpha, Crazy Cow (which is my group ^^), Spider Monkey,Totally Spies and 7-11!

We had this choir practice on the first night from 8pm plus till 10pm or so. Thought things would be super serious after getting a "scolding" from Hichew. It was totally different from what i thought. The atmosphere doesn't feel like an intensive choir rehersal, instead it's more like a relaxing and stress-free session. Got high over J'entends Le Moulin with Hichew playing ^^ Sing and sing + reaching high notes with super high feeling! One word to describe, SHIOK!

We had Mastercall with Mr Marc Anthony Carpio. I thought he was a cute angmoh but he turned out to be a Phillipino. It is indeed a rare opportunity for YCK choir to attend and I'm pretty sure that each and every one of us did benefit from the 1 hour Masterclass. We seized every opportunity to note down his suggestions and comments. The 1hour was spent wisely. If only the master class lasted longer..

All work, no fun? Nonono! We had physical training, games and movie screening during the camp too! Water Balloon fight!! Woohoo ~ FUN! We were engaged in this game whereby all the choir members get to write each other's good point on their paper pasted on their back. It was indeed engaging! I was surprised when I read my paper. The comments I got were really unexpected. They're really very sweet :D

Night trail at the second night! I was one of the 5 members being kidnapped! Took this opportunity to bond and chat with the fellow members being kidnapped too. It was really pleasant able to speak to them.

I really learnt alot through this 3D2N camp. I get to know members well and learn to adapt to changes . I realise, it is really not easy being a president. There are alot of things for me to improve on and learn from. I am truly thankful to the seniors and teachers guiding me along the way. this camp is indeed a sucessful one! It really fostered friendship, ironed out internal squabbles and the common spirit of the members, as indicated in the itinerary.

I BELIEVE, YCK CHOIR IS BONDED THROUGH THIS CAMP! AS A SAYING GOES, "UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL. " . NO MATTER WHAT OBSTACLES WE MAY FACE AHEAD, LET US GET TOGTHER HAND IN HAND AND WE'LL BE ABLE TO GET OVER IT!! AND ALSO, LET'S WORK TOGETHER TOWARDS THE COMMON GOAL!!! JIAYOU YCK CHOIR!!
